Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentines Day Everyone! Share the love today (just not in a gross way). I'm even going to show the love to my neighbors today by not shooting at their dogs.
Namaste!

P.S. It's Valenti"n"e's not Valenti"m"e's Day
P.S.S Give Kyle some extra love today because it's his Birthday. Happy Birthday Kyle!

I was just wondering.......

about those ads that claim to fight the invisible signs of aging.
a. If they are invisible how do we know the product is working?
b. If they are invisible signs, then why do we care?

My Romeo

Aaaah, Love is in the air. Spring is just around the corner and we're just one day away from the most romantic day of the year. I am not one for impractical displays of affection like store bought flowers or candy. Give me a new power tool and I will love you forever. However, sometimes even "I" appreciate a little romance. Joe and I were on the subject of divorce; not a romantic subject you say? No, it's not, but we were talking about other peoples divorces. In our circle of friends there are a few recent breakups. Ok, it's not really a circle of friends, because we don't have many friends. It's more like a dot of friends. Really they're not friends, they're more like acquaintances. So, in our dot of acquaintances there have been a few breakups. I jokingly asked Joe if he was going to get rid of me anytime soon, figuring he would say something like; "Oh no darling, I love you too much to let you go!" Or at least something to that effect. Instead he says; "No, it would be too much work." Seriously???? That's like saying; "I'm staying married to you because there is too much paperwork involved in a divorce." Or; "My schedule is too full to fit in appointments with a lawyer." How romantic! Come on Joe, throw me a bone!!!!! After I pointed out that his comment was less than inspiring, he quickly made up by saying some mushy stuff that was total bullshit. That satisfied me. What really touched my heart though was the fact that he took the trash to the curb for me. What a man! He's quite a Romeo.

Happy Birthday Bonnie

Bonnie! We haven't heard from you in a long time. Hope you have a wonderful birthday. Any star sightings lately????

Michael, Michael, Michael

What were you thinking Michael Phelps? Apparently not thinking. That Mary Jane kills brain cells, not to mention decreases lung capacity. My first thought when I heard of his indiscretion was to say, "What an Idiot!" Then I thought about it and I'm kind of feeling bad for him now. Obviously he is not a stoner. He couldn't have achieved what he has by smoking pot everyday. It takes extreme dedication and sacrifice to do what he has done in the sports world. He was just cuttin loose and having a little fun, albeit illegal fun. His biggest mistake was to do it around people that didn't have his best interests at heart. If that picture came from one of his friends, then he best be cutting them loose. I give him credit for admitting his guilt. He didn't try to blame it on someone else, or say it wasn't him. That makes him a stand up guy as far as I'm concerned. He got his punishment. He lost millions of $$$$$. Kellogg dropped him as a spokesperson. I think that was a move they had to make. Most of their products are geared toward kids. However, the groups that support the legalization of pot have his back. They are boycotting Kellogg's products. No more pop tarts for them. Go stoners! I'm just glad that there weren't cell phone cameras back in the late 70's or I'd have some explaining to do. "No really mom, my eyes are just red because I went swimming today."

Natural Beauty

I got a photo of a new celebrity in town. I think her and her little dog are friends of Paris Hilton. I'm not one to talk, but I think she has had work done, or someone enhanced her photo. No one looks that good!

2B2B

Too Busy To Blog. Joe is home and he's got my rhythm all off. He expects me to cook and do other wifely things. Plus I'm PMSed and I hate everyone. So in an effort to put forth positive energy, here is a thought...."The law of emotion states that any thought held in the mind and charged with emotion is rapidly accepted by the subconscious mind, activating all the other mental laws, turning inner thought into outer reality."
