Topics Of Conversation

Our neighbor here in Chokoloskee who is a friend of Joe's from Ft.Wayne, invited us over to his house last night for cocktails (I was glad because we were out of wine). There were two other people there as well. So there I am sitting in a room with four highly intelligent and respected doctors (two of whom have seen me naked). Sorry! I couldn't resist. One was my Anesthesiologist during surgery. Anyhow......I was a little intimidated. I didn't want to say anything too stupid and embarrass Joe, so I was on my best behavior. I shouldn't have been so worried. Here is a list of some of the topics of conversation: personality types, Ipods and pads, pedophiles, hot 20 year olds, Roomba vacuums and Shark steam cleaners. The only thing I wasn't well versed on was the Ipods and Ipads, other than that I was an intellectual genius. We ended our cocktail hour watching a Roomba vacuum in action. I gotta get me one of those.

So what did I learn during our conversation? I learned that mature men are interested in women younger than them, but not by too much. I learned a man can be turned on looking at 20 year old girls, but as soon as they speak the interest fades. I learned that medically educated individuals believe homosexuality to be a genetic predisposition (I completely agree). I learned that I cannot possibly live without a Roomba vacuum or a Shark steam cleaner. Mostly I learned that doctors are people too.
