No, I didn't forget to wish my own daughter a Happy Birthday yesterday. She had me busy all day shopping with her and then I went to the farm with Joe. No time to blog. The farm is kind of primative. No Internet. Anyway, Happy Birthday Amanda! You have become the most amazing woman. I am in awe of you everyday. (God, I did such a good job raising you, or maybe you just did a good job of overcoming how your were raised :). Either way, I Love You!

P.S.
ROCKS DO NOT FLOAT
Brian, you need to look at a pumace rock in its natural state. It definitely floats.
Sorry Amanda, I told Bryan about your Amanda moment and the rocks. It's toooooo cute.
Steve are you ever going to learn how to spell Bryan's name??? Seriously he's 28.
I'm getting better it used to be Brain. Sorry please delete entry #2
substitute this for it.
Bryan, you need to look at a pumace rock in its natural state. It definitely floats. I witnessed this first hand while I was on Easter Island. The following is from wikipedia and I know that site is full of it on some topics but it has this one down pretty good...... Pumice (pronounced /ˈpʌmɨs/) is a textural term for a volcanic rock that is a solidified frothy lava typically created when super-heated, highly pressurized rock is violently ejected from a volcano. It forms when volcanic gases exsolving from viscous magma nucleate bubbles which cannot readily decouple from the viscous magma prior to chilling to glass. Pumice is a common product of explosive eruptions (plinian and ignimbrite-forming) and commonly forms zones in upper parts of silicic lavas. Pumice has an average porosity of 90%, and initially floats on water.
Like all of the big words not sure if there spelled right but at least I got Bryan right this time.
That's what I was referring to, the pumice rock. Thanks for reminding me what it was called uncle Steve.
Thanks for the birthday wish! I'm pretty sure it was the way you raised me...after all I am too much like you!
The rocks in question are field stones. What a good Uncle for trying to bail out Amanda.
Funny story....I spelled Bryan's name with a "y" mainly because I was afraid people would spell it Brain. Or worse yet I would spell it Brain.
